Walk/5k questions

Hey! So I did it................................I signed up for my first 5k.........i'm going to walk it. I would run, but i'm visually impaired and i've always been told running isin't good for the eye that I have left. In order to develop endurance and stamina, I was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips in preparing for this event? Please share your ideas and comments or experiences. Thanks

  1. I completed my first 5k a few weeks ago. I just started walking nearly everyday and tried to walk almost 5k each time. If you can, just walk and increase your distance every time you work.
